"The Family Medicine, like other generalist disciplines in Medicine or other areas, inevitably collides with the realm of knowledge and knowledge of the segmented and rigidly hierarchical. Its diffuse epistemological fragility and its apparent at first glance give an impression impossibility of ever being able to challenge, useful and effective, the established order. However, this evolution is the very order that, in triggering crises and ruptures, ultimately creates new needs and opportunities of knowledge and action. a dynamic, turbulent , results sometimes uncertain, but historically and socially unstoppable, where the choice of the way forward can make all the difference. This book, On Will, articulated in a non-linear with the other two components of the project : the DVD On Places, which were the pretext inspiring circuit audios and places of National Meetings of General Practice, organized between 1983 and 2003, and the book On Memory, conceived as a portrait set in a given time through a game mosaic of ideas, testimonies, perspectives, images and personal details of some of the protagonists of the collective project of the Portuguese general and family medicine.

On Will consists of five texts, five original artistic projects and a series of architectural photographs linked with a text. The group set up a network of images and texts which envisage a look and a thought on the general medicine and family in Portugal and worldwide." The editors
